KISA Welfare Group (KISAWG)
The KISA Welfare Group (KISAWG) was established under the Kenya in Stoke Association to provide mutual support and solidarity among members during times of bereavement.
The Welfare Group offers financial assistance to support members and their families with funeral-related expenses, helping to reduce the financial burden during difficult times. It also promotes compassion, unity, and collective responsibility by encouraging members to support one another in times of need.
Through this initiative, KISA continues to strengthen community resilience, ensuring that no member faces bereavement alone.
Membership Elegibility
Must be a KISA member.
Pay a Welfare Membership fee of £30.
Pay three months contribution of £45 during waiting period.

How can I join the KRO welfare?
Registration is £30(There is a discounted open window for new members registration of £15 to join from 1st August-31st August of every year. This is to allow new students to join.) plus 3 months contribution of £45.
If siblings lose their loved ones, will they be given equal contributions?
Contributions to bereavements apply to all members.
Why is there a subscription membership fee?
This is to cater for admin costs associated with running the organisation. Full accounts are prepared at the end of every financial year and presented at the AGM.
Can I cancel my KISA membership anytime?
Membership is voluntary and you can cancel it anytime by notifying the Secretary at: info@kenyansinstoke.org
Can I add a new dependant?
Spouse and if you have a newborn baby or legally adopted child. A copy of the birth certificate or adoption certificate must be electronically issued to the secretary as evidence through: info@kenyansinstoke.org
